9th Grade Work
Half-Portrait
In this project we had to draw one half of our face but we were guided by the other half, being a picture. We had to be as accurate as possible in the part of drawing exactly how our face, (the cut part of the picture) was. To make it look as realistic as possible we had to blend the pencil graffito with a blending stick so it looked as if it was painted. The blending stick was mainly used to create shadows or light spots in our drawings; also I used it to give more color to the scarf in my drawing and my hair.
Reflection I really liked this project because we had to draw a representation of ourselves but we were guided with a picture of us. I had already done a work of art like that but instead of using a picture we draw the other side of a butterfly or a face drawn by our teacher. It was also interesting to make this project because in it we could look to us and see what are some differences in our style of drawing and our way of seeing things.

Value Study
In this project we had to apply we had already learned. We had to draw according to some instructions, for example it said draw two parallel lines, color 8 shapes black or things like that. We had to color figures with different styles like punctuation or criss-hatching. We could color with makers or with color pencils. We could paint the shapes either whole or with some creativity, it was as we liked.
Reflection I liked this project because we were free to choose who to create our final product. I also liked this project because all the projects in the class had something similar, we had to follow certain directions so all of them had the directions complete. It was a nice project to do because it made us use our creativity in how to make it different from the other projects.

1 Point Bed room
This is one of the recent projects that i have done. In this project we had to draw a bed room put in perspective to one point. We had to draw at least two windows (it could be paintings also), and three pieces of furniture. In my drawing i had 2 windows, 6 furniture parts, and 1 door. All of those items i had to connect to one point so all of the drawing is in perspective.
Reflection i liked this project because we were able to draw whichever room we had in mind, for example living room, bed room, rest room, TV room, etc.it was fun making this project because i tried to be as exact as possible with my drawing, and draw something very similar to what my room looks like, only that in that drawing i did not include my bed because the picture is drawn from the bed´s side.
